Yhrl Rich: From the Streets of Cleveland to Music, Acting, and Building a Legacy
Born in Cleveland, Ohio, Yhrl Rich’s journey is one defined by resilience, grit, and transformation. Growing up in the rough streets and later facing prison time, music became his outlet—a passion that ran in the family, with relatives connected to the legendary R&B group LeVert.
Rich’s turning point came in 2016 when he crossed paths with Memphis super-producer Drumma Boy and met 8Ball of the iconic duo 8Ball & MJG. Inspired, he launched his career with Apply the Pressure featuring Numberz, followed by Talk to Em alongside Hell Rell the Shooter and Lamar Cole—a track blending trap soul with a sampled beat from Jhené Aiko.
After that, Rich diversified his path, balancing business ventures with music. He toured with Authentic Empire, performed at ACE Magazine events, and even graced the cover of its South by Southwest 2024 edition. In addition to music, Rich expanded into acting, making his debut with an appearance in Paramount’s Mayor of Kingstown (Season 3) and contributing to Cleveland’s Holygrail series.
When asked about 2025, Rich revealed that new music is on the way—along with the debut of his daughter as his first artist. He’s also preparing to launch his Dremayda clothing and fragrance line, giving fans more ways to connect with his vision. Recently wrapping up filming for a comedy project, Rich is ready to showcase his full range of talents while building a lasting legacy for his family and supporters.
